Presentation du poste
Le poste de chargé de mobilisation des ressources et des partenariats est à pourvoir au sein d'International Transformation Foundation (ITF), organisation dirigée par des jeunes. Sous la coordination du Secrétaire général, le/la volontaire aura pour mission principale d'identifier les opportunités de financement et de préparer des propositions de subventions. Il/elle devra également développer un plan de travail pour la génération de ressources, en couvrant à la fois les apports financiers et les contributions en nature. La coordination des accords avec les bailleurs, le suivi des échéances de reporting et le respect des délais de renouvellement des subventions font partie des responsabilités clés. Le/la titulaire du poste produira des rapports narratifs et financiers en collaboration avec les équipes concernées, et veillera à la transparence et à la redevabilité vis-à-vis des donateurs. Il/elle contribuera aussi à l'élargissement de la base de soutiens via des campagnes structurées, à la mobilisation de ressources non financières auprès du secteur privé, et à l'alimentation de la newsletter de l'organisation. Une veille régulière sur les meilleures pratiques des grandes organisations à but non lucratif et une recherche indépendante permettront d'améliorer continuellement les stratégies de collecte.
Le profil recherché correspond à une personne âgée de 18 à 30 ans, pleinement engagée pour un service à temps plein d'au moins six mois. Une formation supérieure en relations publiques, communication, administration des affaires, marketing, études du développement ou relations internationales est souhaitable, mais une expérience significative en collecte de fonds, en rédaction de propositions ou en mobilisation de ressources peut être acceptée en équivalence. Une forte motivation pour le développement communautaire, un intérêt marqué pour les partenariats et la croissance d'une organisation à but non lucratif sont indispensables. Le/la candidat/e idéal/e fait preuve d'excellentes compétences en communication, d'autonomie, de rigueur dans le suivi des dossiers et d'une capacité à maintenir un engagement continu avec les parties prenantes. La connaissance des enjeux liés aux programmes de moyens d'existence, à l'entrepreneuriat des jeunes et aux projets d'accès à l'eau potable (WASH) constitue un atout.
Sur le plan des conditions, il s'agit d'un poste de volontariat à temps plein, sans compensation financière. Les volontaires sont responsables de leurs frais de subsistance courants, notamment l'hébergement et le transport vers le bureau. ITF prend en charge les dépenses opérationnelles directement liées aux activités, telles que les déplacements pour des réunions, des visites terrain ou des opérations officielles. Job Description
In conjunction with the Secretary General, the Resource Mobilizer will be responsible for generating both financial and non-financial resources to sustain ITF’s operations and programs.
Primary Responsibilities
• Identify and prepare grant proposals and develop other fundraising strategies for projects and office expenses.
• Develop a funds generation and resource mobilization work plan and oversee its implementation.
• Maintain ongoing engagement with supporters, ensuring transparency on project progress, impact, and financial accountability through personalized communication and detailed reports.
• Expand ITF’s supporter base by leading structured fundraising campaigns.
• Mobilize non-financial resources from private sector entities, individuals, and corporate partners.
• Coordinate agreements connected to funding opportunities and ensure timely submission of reports and grant renewals.
• Monitor donor reporting and grant expenditure deadlines, preparing high-quality narrative and financial reports in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Contribute to the production of the ITF Newsletter with a focus on resource mobilization updates.
• Keep ITF’s fundraising and resource mobilization records up to date.
• Strengthen ITF’s fundraising strategies through independent research and benchmarking against larger nonprofit organizations.
Candidate Specifications
• Must be between the ages of 18 – 30.
• Must commit to a minimum of six months full-time service.
• Strong interest in fundraising, partnerships, communications, and nonprofit growth.
• Highly motivated and passionate about supporting communities, with a genuine interest in career development in the nonprofit sector.
Education Background
• A degree or diploma in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Development Studies, International Relations, or a related field is desirable.
• Candidates with strong demonstrated experience in fundraising, writing proposals, or mobilizing resources will also be considered, even if they do not hold a formal qualification in the above fields.
Compensation
Although ITF Volunteer staff enjoy limitless opportunities, ITF does NOT provide any form of compensation. ITF staff operate on a full-time volunteer basis. Volunteers are responsible for their own basic expenses, such as accommodation and transport to the office. ITF provides direct operational expenses only, such as transport to meetings, field visits, and official operations.
