Missions principales
Au sein d'One Acre Fund, ONG internationale appuyant 5,5 millions de petits exploitants agricoles dans neuf pays africains, le/la titulaire du poste est le/la partenaire financier·ère de la direction pays Ouganda. Il/elle pilote la planification financière stratégique : élaboration et actualisation de prévisions glissantes sur cinq ans, modélisation financière, analyse de sensibilité et conseil des décisions d'investissement en lien avec la direction pays et la direction financière globale. Il/elle coordonne le cycle mensuel de reporting budgétaire (Budget vs Actual), anime le dialogue de gestion avec les responsables de département et produit des analyses pour la direction senior. Côté gestion des subventions, il/elle assure l'interface avec l'équipe Grants Finance pour le cycle de vie des financements restreints : conformité avec les exigences des bailleurs, préparation des rapports et budgets donateur·rices, suivi des dépenses éligibles, modèles de flux de trésorerie pour la liquidité des activités, et liaison avec les équipes terrain et fundraising. Enfin, il/elle supervise la conformité fiscale et légale de l'Ouganda (déclarations et obligations statutaires), prépare les audits internes et externes, identifie les risques de contrôle interne et déploie des mécanismes de gouvernance renforcés.
Profil recherche
Le poste exige un Bachelor en finance, comptabilité ou administration des affaires, complété par une qualification professionnelle ACCA ou CPA(Ouganda), ainsi que plus de quatre ans d'expérience en finance, conseil ou advisory stratégique. Une expérience confirmée dans la gestion de subventions multi-devises de grands bailleurs (UE, USAID, fondations, etc.) est indispensable. Le/la candidat·e maîtrise Power BI, Google Sheets et les modèles Excel avancés, avec une capacité à concevoir des modèles financiers complexes et des visualisations de données pour éclairer les décisions exécutives. Parmi les qualités attendues : rigueur analytique, aptitude à travailler en équipe pluridisciplinaire, communication avec des parties prenantes variées (direction, bailleurs, équipes terrain) et sens aigu de la redevabilité. Une connaissance du secteur agricole ou de l'environnement humanitaire et de développement en Afrique de l'Est est un atout.

Le poste est basé à Jinja/Kampala (Ouganda), avec un contrat de deux ans renouvelable en fonction des performances. About the Role
You will support the Uganda program with financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting to inform decision-making. In addition, you will collaborate with the Grants Finance team in overseeing the financial aspects of specific Uganda-focused grants, including budgeting, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
- You’ll lead the development and continuous update of 5-year rolling forecasts and financial models. You will ensure alignment on financial, operational, and impact assumptions between the Country Director and Global Finance to drive informed, long-term strategic decisions.
- You’ll act as the primary financial advisor for all strategic initiatives, providing rigorous recommendations backed by sensitivity analyses. You will ensure every decision with financial consequences is grounded in Global Finance’s best practices and a deep understanding of potential fiscal outcomes.
- You’ll direct the monthly financial reporting and Budget vs. Actual (BVA) processes in collaboration with department heads. By providing senior leadership with targeted analysis and performance updates, you will serve as a key partner in managing the Uganda program’s fiscal health and communicating results to stakeholders.
Grants Management
- You’ll direct the lifecycle of grants by ensuring compliance with donor requirements, overseeing accurate reporting, and continuously enhancing tracking systems and databases for efficiency.
- You’ll lead the development of donor budget reports and forecasts, monitoring grant spending against budgets to ensure fiscal alignment and proactive performance management.
- You’ll manage comprehensive fund flow models to guarantee operational liquidity for restricted activities, while acting as the strategic liaison between Finance, Field, and Fundraising teams to synchronize fund transfers and grant progress.
Compliance and Control
- You’ll lead the preparation and timely filing of all Uganda-specific tax returns and statutory obligations in strict alignment with local regulatory frameworks. You will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, ensuring seamless reviews through meticulous data organization and documentation.
- You’ll strengthen the organization’s financial integrity by proactively identifying control weaknesses and risk exposures. You will partner with country leadership and department heads to drive process improvements, seal compliance gaps, and implement robust governance frameworks.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, underpinned by a rigorous command of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting standards.
- Over 4 years of progressive experience in finance, consulting, or strategic advisory.
- Full professional qualification in ACCA or CPA (U)
- Experience managing multi-currency grants from major donors.
- Fluency in Power BI and Google Sheets with intermediate Microsoft Excel modeling capabilities. Proven ability to architect complex financial models and leverage data visualization to drive executive-level decision-making.
