La mission proposée s'inscrit dans le renforcement des capacités internes de Right To Play, une ONG internationale œuvrant dans 13 pays pour la protection et l'éducation des enfants par le jeu. Dans un contexte de coordination de programmes humanitaires et de développement, le consultant aura pour responsabilité principale de concevoir et d'animer deux sessions de formation d'une demi-journée en présentiel à Addis-Abeba, à destination du personnel. Ces formations visent à développer la sensibilisation culturelle au-delà de la nationalité, en abordant notamment les styles de communication, la perception du temps, les hiérarchies, les normes sociales d'un point de vue africain et ouest-européen, ainsi que les dynamiques de pouvoir et de privilège dans les organisations internationales. Le consultant devra également veiller à créer un espace d'apprentissage sûr et constructif, propice aux échanges sur des sujets sensibles, en utilisant des méthodes participatives telles que des sondages, des travaux en sous-groupes et des études de cas. Il devra par ailleurs assurer la remise des supports de formation, des ressources documentaires et d'un rapport post-formation d'environ cinq pages, conformément aux exigences de suivi-évaluation de l'organisation. Le profil recherché correspond à un expert confirmé en diversité, équité et inclusion (DEI), en communication interculturelle et en formation à la sensibilisation culturelle. Une expérience avérée avec des équipes internationales ou multiculturelles est indispensable, de même que d'excellentes compétences en facilitation en présentiel et en communication écrite et orale en anglais. La maîtrise de l'amharique, bien que non obligatoire, est considérée comme un atout. Le consultant devra également adhérer aux valeurs de l'ONG et se conformer à sa politique mondiale de sauvegarde et à son code de conduite, en particulier dans le cadre de ses interactions avec le personnel et les communautés bénéficiaires. Sur le plan des conditions, il s'agit d'une consultance dont l'effort est estimé entre 4 et 6 jours ouvrables, incluant la préparation, l'animation et le reporting. La livraison est prévue pour septembre 2026. Les candidats intéressés doivent soumettre une proposition technique décrivant l'approche et la méthodologie, une proposition financière, un CV de deux pages maximum et deux références pour des mandats similaires, avant le 23 août 2026. Cette mission est ouverte à des consultants basés en Éthiopie ou à l'étranger, avec une préférence pour une bonne connaissance du contexte local.

To strengthen staff capacity to work effectively in multicultural environments, while fostering teamwork and collaboration in high pressure tight deadline scenarios, the INGO seeks a qualified consultant to design and deliver two half-day in person trainings in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for Right To Play staff.
Objectives
To enhance staff understanding of:
- Cultures and environmentally adapted behaviors
- Respect for diverse norms, values, habits, and practices
- Understanding collaboration and communication from culture-based context
Scope of Work
Preparation
- Conduct brief inception meeting with People & Culture staff of Right To Play
- Design interactive in person training (slides + practical exercises)
Delivery
- Facilitate two half-day in person training in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in September 2026
- Ensure high participant engagement and in-depth reflections and conversations (e.g., polls, breakout groups, case discussions)
- Create a safe and constructive learning environment for sensitive discussions
Post-Session
- Share training materials and resource list
- Submit post training report (5 pages circa)

Qualifications
- Proven experience in DEI, intercultural communication and cultural awareness training
- Experience with international or multicultural teams
- Strong online and in-person facilitation skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Fluency in Amharic not necessary, but desirable
