Missions principales
Le titulaire du poste de Responsable de l'accès au marché, basé au Kenya, pilote le déploiement commercial et technique du programme Access to Health (ATH), mis en œuvre par MEDS en partenariat avec Boehringer Ingelheim. Il/elle contribue à améliorer l'accès à des marques innovantes, de qualité et abordables pour les maladies non transmissibles dans les 47 comtés. Rattaché(e) au Business Development and Marketing Manager, il/elle assure le detailing des produits ATH pour générer des prescriptions, collabore avec les Field Officers afin d'intégrer l'expertise technique aux approches commerciales et stimuler l'enrôlement des patients. Il/elle coordonne les formations médicales continues (CME) et le renforcement des capacités des clients et équipes internes, réalise des démonstrations produits sur site et documente les retours clients. La fonction exige coordination des parties prenantes, suivi des indicateurs et contribution à la stratégie d'accès au marché.
Profil recherche
Le poste requiert une licence en sciences de la santé (pharmacie, médecine clinique, soins infirmiers, laboratoire médical ou domaine connexe) avec expérience marketing, ou un diplôme en marketing, gestion ou administration assorti d'un diplôme pertinent en santé. Une inscription auprès de l'organisme professionnel de régulation est exigée. Le candidat doit justifier d'au moins deux ans d'expérience comme Sales/Marketing Executive, posséder un véhicule personnel et un permis de conduire valide avec au moins deux ans de conduite continue. Les compétences techniques incluent sens des affaires, marketing, service client, négociation, analyse de marché et collecte de feedback. Sur le plan comportemental, intégrité, communication, relations interpersonnelles, résolution de problèmes et analyse sont essentielles. La maîtrise de la coordination, du suivi-évaluation et du renforcement des capacités est un atout.

Project Summary
MEDS is implementing Access to Health Program (ATH) in partnership Bohringer Ingelheim to improve access to quality and affordable innovator brands for the treatment and management of non-communicable diseases across all 47 counties in Kenya, supporting the prevention, treatment and management of non-communicable diseases and other health priorities. The Project shall run for two years with a possible extension upon successful implementation.
The position will report to the Business Development and Marketing Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's medical laboratory commodities are effectively marketed, meet regulatory standards, and are utilized optimally by healthcare providers and laboratories through expert product knowledge, customer support, and strategic market analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Detailing of the products under Access to Health program to generate prescriptions.
Collaborate closely with the Field Officers integrating technical expertise with sales approaches to enhance team effectiveness and drive Patient enrolment for Boehringer Access to health program - Coordinate CMEs and training initiatives for both customers and internal teams, facilitating consistent knowledge transfer and skill development to maintain high standards of ATH product knowledge to generate Patient enrolment
- Visit customer locations to conduct real-world product demonstrations, showcasing product value and contributing to successful sales
- Collect and document customer feedback during and after product use, contributing valuable insights to product development
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant Health Sciences e.g Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory or related field with marketing experience Or Business Degree in Marketing/ Management/Administration or related field with relevant health-related Diploma e.g. Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory or pharmacy and marketing experience
- Registration with relevant regulatory professional body
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience as a Sales/ Marketing Executive
- Own vehicle and Clean driving licence with at least two years of continuous driving experience
- Technical Competencies: Business acumen; Marketing skills; customer service and Negotiation skills
- Behavioural attributes: High level of integrity, interpersonal skills, Communication skills; Problem solving skills; Analytical skills
