Le spécialiste conformité biochar pilote la fonction conformité de l'usine Tupande au Kenya. Il dirige le programme de suivi, rapport et vérification (MRV) et conçoit le programme santé, sécurité et environnement (HSE). Il élabore le système de données sur les intrants, la production, la qualité et l'utilisation finale, au standard exigé par le vérificateur externe. Interlocuteur principal des vérificateurs, auditeurs et régulateurs (NEMA, DOSH, vérificateurs carbone), il prépare les audits et pilote les actions correctives. Il encadre les techniciens labo et qualité, forme le personnel aux procédures HSE et de saisie, et coordonne production, qualité et administration pour garantir la traçabilité. Il crée aussi des formations pour les équipes terrain sur l'application du biochar et la collecte de données au point de livraison.
Le poste exige un diplôme en santé et sécurité, environnement, ingénierie, science des données, agronomie ou domaine connexe, et au moins trois ans d'expérience en HSE, conformité, audit ou gestion de données environnementales. Une connaissance solide des cadres réglementaires type OSHA Kenya, ISO ou équivalent est un fort atout. Le candidat doit être à l'aise avec les auditeurs tiers et capable de concevoir des programmes orientés audit. La familiarité avec les normes carbone (Isometric, Puro.earth, EBC, IBI) est appréciée. De solides compétences en gestion de données, reporting et analyse sont requises, avec un engagement fort pour l'intégrité et la traçabilité des données et la sécurité. L'anglais courant est exigé; une expérience en Afrique de l'Est est un avantage. Le poste demande une capacité d'apprentissage rapide dans les domaines MRV et HSE.

Our Kenya program, founded in 2006, operates under the local brand Tupande. Close to 500 staff in our Kakamega headquarters support 1,747 field staff and serve more than 1 million farmers. In Nairobi, around 50 staff support global functions like procurement, recruitment, government relations, and communications.
Owns the facility's Compliance function, combining leadership of the Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) programme with responsibility for facility Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programme design and oversight. Designs and runs the data system that captures feedstock, production, quality, and end-use data to the standard required by the external verifier. Owns HSE programme design, training, documentation, and audit readiness. Serves as the primary interface with external verifiers, auditors, and regulators (NEMA, DOSH, third-party carbon verifiers). Reports to the Biochar Lead.
