Missions principales
Le titulaire apporte un support aux utilisateurs finaux et aux infrastructures TIC dans les locaux de la mission en République centrafricaine. Il construit et installe les structures de support internes et externes pour les réseaux et systèmes de transport de l'information : chemins de câbles, goulottes, passages, tuyauteries souterraines et leur vérification. Il réalise l'installation et le raccordement de câbles fibre optique, cuivre et coaxiaux, avec terminaisons et documentation. Il déploie des systèmes d'alimentation alternative pour les équipements TIC actifs, identifie et teste les circuits électriques, gère les connexions actives/passives avec le superviseur. Il assure le suivi des systèmes HVAC dans les espaces TIC, diagnostique les pannes des infrastructures télécoms et d'alimentation alternative, et propose des solutions. Il coordonne avec les sections clientes pour les salles techniques, armoires télécoms et salles d'équipement, selon les normes internationales. Il maintient une orientation client, la sécurité au travail, gère temps, stocks et ressources pour les bureaux régionaux et terrain, et peut travailler de longues heures. Il exécute d'autres tâches confiées par le superviseur ou le chef de section.
Profil recherche
Le candidat est titulaire d'un diplôme d'études secondaires complété par des certificats techniques en câblage structuré. Il justifie d'au moins quatre ans d'expérience dans les réseaux voix et données et les infrastructures électriques, incluant pose, tirage, raccordement et épissage de câbles. Une expérience avec les Nations Unies ou le DFS est un atout. Il est formé aux systèmes UPS monophasés et triphasés de grande capacité avec batteries, notamment Vertiv, aux systèmes Motorola conteneurisés, APC et aux mises à la terre télécom. La connaissance des systèmes solaires hybrides SMA et Schneider, avec passerelle, de 3 à 50 kW, est un avantage majeur. Il maîtrise l'installation de redresseurs DC, les logiciels de gestion électrique et les distributions de puissance. Il sait lire et interpréter des schémas télécoms et électriques, des plans d'ingénierie, et utiliser des appareils de test. Une expérience en environnement de conflit ou post-conflit est requise.
Conditions proposees
L'offre ne précise ni type de contrat, ni durée, ni rémunération, ni lieu. Le poste est basé en République centrafricaine, avec des interventions possibles dans toutes les localisations de la mission, y compris les bureaux régionaux et terrain. Le titulaire rapporte au responsable hiérarchique et n'a pas de responsabilité d'équipe. Des heures supplémentaires sont à prévoir selon les besoins opérationnels. Overview of position
CTG is seeking a qualified candidate whose experience matches the Terms of Reference (TOR) outlined below:
Role objectives
A. Construct and install Internal and External support structure for the placement of Network Infrastructure / Information transport systems, i.e., trunking/ducting systems, pathways systems, service holes, underground piping, and verifications / administration [all Mission locations].
B. Construct and install including terminations of fiber optic and copper cables and /or not limited to coaxial cable at all Mission locations / buildings and terminations including verification / administration.
C. Construction and installation(s) of Alternative Power systems relating to ICT Active Devices within the destinated spaces including Electrical circuit identification, verification/testing, documentations/administration, and management of connection of Active / Passive network in consultation with the Unit supervisor.
D. Monitor / management of HVAC systems within the ICT destinated spaces, fault findings both Network Telecommunications Infrastructure and Alternative Power Infrastructure and implement appropriate solutions in consultation with the Unit supervisor.
E. Coordination with Internal stakeholders (i.e., client Unites and sections) relating to construction client / ICT Technical Rooms both telecommunications closets' / Equipment Rooms including horizontal distributions according to minimum international standards under the guardianship of the Unit Supervisor
F. Maintain constant focus on exceeding customers’ expectations and ensuring safety at work.
G. Manage time, material inventory and/or resources throughout and distribution / support to all Regional/Field Offices within the Mission and anticipate long hours of work due to operational requirements.
H. Perform other duties periodically defined by the direct supervisor and/or Chief of Section
Project reporting
The incumbent will report to the line manager.
Key competencies
- High school diploma and supported by Technical certificates (Structural Cabling ...)
- At least Four (4) working years’ experience establishing voice and data infrastructure networks and electrical infrastructure including placement, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables and United Nations / DFS experience in similar work – an advantage.
- Trained and experienced in both Single and High capacity three-phase with large battery banks (especially Vertiv) UPS systems, Motorola Containerized Technical power systems, APC systems (repaired / service), and key knowledgeable in Telecommunications Grounding systems – a major advantage
- Knowledgeable and experienced hands-on including training relating to Solar Hybrid systems (SMA and schneider solar systems/Gateway) with capacities (3kw to 50kw systems – a major advantage
- Experience in DC rectifiers installations including proficiency in software electrical installations/management and power distributions.
- Ability to read and interpret both Telecommunications Network Infrastructure and Electrical diagrams / writing including Engineering Blueprints. – an advantage
- Ability to use and manage technical electronic testing devices for both Telecommunications Network Infrastructure and Electrical Infrastructure and installations. – an advantage
- Working experience in a conflict of post conflict environment.
