Here’s where you come in:
As General Ledger Assistant, you will support transactional processes within the General Ledger, with a key focus on Fixed Asset functions, as outlined in the major responsibilities and as requested by internal customers. You will ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time, in alignment with Month-End and Year-End calendar deliverables, while maintaining compliance with internal controls, the Partnership Finance Manual, and General Accounting principles.
Main Functions:
- You will upload the asset historical data of the Field Office.
- You will perform Corporate Allocation in SunSystems.
- You will carry out Assets Depreciation and Disposals in SunSystems.
- You will run asset reports using the PMQA template.
- You will regularly engage with the Field Office.
- You will support other General Accounting functions as needed.
Requirements include:
- At least 6 months experience in General Leger
- Minimum Technical degree in accounting
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Technical degree in accounting or beginning (first year) university studies in Finance, Administration or Accounting
